I have already said several times that I am using the HeartDive Bible Study. I am working my way through it but my schedule is a little different. I don’t do bible study on the weekends as I use those days for other things. I do want to share with everyone my reading and studying plan for the rest of August.
Anytime I get behind I use the weekend to catch up if I need to. So feel free to follow me as I read, study, and share my thoughts throughout the week. Remember though to give yourself plenty of grace.
If you find that you just can’t get to the study that day, it’s okay. Just come back to it once you can. It helps to work out a schedule but don’t make it a chore. I played around with various times and locations to find out what works best for me. Now, I get up before anyone else and sit in my bed and do my study.
I have one of those tables that pulls up. I print out the daily notes from Kanoe (you can find them on her website) as well as the Daily Heart Checks and Deep Dive questions. The notes are free but the others are in her shop.
I read through whatever the study for the day is then I pull up the YouTube video and watch it. On the notes I printed out, I add in my own notes, thoughts, etc. AS you can see in the image above. The lighter penned notes are my own. I know they don’t make sense but to me they do. Then later in the day (usually at the end of my work day) I sit down and add those in my bible. This helps me two fold. One I am sitting at my desk and have the space to spread out and work on my notes.
I can look up anything I want or need to as well. I like being able to do that. The second reason is I begin my dad with God and then end my work day in His word as well. It helps me make the transition from work to home life much more easily. it also helps me get rid of the stress of the work day. I work from home and am my own boss so I am doing this on my own time.
Feel free to download the calendar below and use it for your own bible study. I will make sure to post one at the beginning of each month for those who are following me.
